Camden, through a poet’s eyes
Cherry Hill Courier Post
This will not be a conventional news story.
It’s about a poet, and poets are not conventional people. It’s about Rocky Wilson, the self-proclaimed “Puppet Laureate of Camden,” and Rocky Wilson is not a conventional poet, either.
He’s a fixture in a city full of characters. He teaches. He rides a battered bike and carries a puppet named Bongo. He reads poetry and impersonates Walt Whitman.
