Cooper-Grant January 2018

Happy New Year!

The next Cooper-Grant Monthly Meeting is  Monday January 22nd 7pm at 121 Market St.   The conference space of City Invincible at 2nd and Market St. We will have some community updates including a presentation by DRPA representatives on the BIKE RAMP PROJECT for the south Walkway of the Ben Franklin Bridge.   We will have food from Friends Cafe at the start of the meeting.

Thank you to Rutgers-Camden and volunteers for the MLK Jr Day of Service Project helping the Cooper-Grant Community collect data on empty street tree pits, street lamps on during the day and houses that need recycling buckets. With you assistance we are hoping to improve the quality of life this spring by planting more trees, passing out more recycling buckets and getting more street lamps fixed in our community.

A big thank you to Tina and Cheryl for their service on the Cooper-Grant Board in the past year!

Happy Holidays

The last monthly Cooper-Grant Meeting was held Nov 27th, 7pm at the Victor Lofts Caruso Room.   The CGNA Board elections were held with Jonathan Latko (President), Lucas MurrayVice-President), Kayleigh Kenniff (Secretary) and Bryon Yoder (Treasurer) nominated and elected by the body.

On Dec 21st 6-8pm we will hold our annul COOPER-GRANT Holiday Gathering planned to be at A Little Slice of NY on 3rd St.  Pizza, some live entertainment from the Arts Committee and community.

Our next monthly meeting will be January 22nd 2018 at 7pm – Place TBA –  HAPPY NEW YEAR!
